Many famous people are selling their ‘works of art’ for exorbitant sums of money. Are the buyers buying their ‘ART’ for the content or are they simply content to safely invest into the name? Are such works destined for the wall or for the bank vault?
Would you buy the image shown because you would JUST LOVE seeing it on a daily basis or is it because you can tell your friends that you own a work by the boxer Muhammad Ali?
Some ‘names’ are dabbling for the fun of it and good luck to them. But, some dabble because they need to keep to the life style that they have grown accustomed to and need the extra ‘dosh’. Let’s try to see which is which and what is what!
