A SUCCESSFUL RETURN TO THE OLIVE TREE – NOVEMBER 2019

HAVING FILLED THE OLIVE TREE RESTAURANT IN MORAIRA ON TWO TUESDAY NIGHTS IN NOVEMBER LAST YEAR IN WHAT WAS OUR FIRST VENTURE AS DINING OUT GROUP HOSTS, SUE & I WONDERED WHETHER WE COULD GET AWAY WITH REPEATING THE EXERCISE 12 MONTHS LATER.

WE HAD NO NEED FOR CONCERN AS 120 U3A DINING OUT GROUP MEMBERS FILLED THE RESTAURANT TO CAPACITY SPREAD OVER THE 2 NIGHTS. THE POPULARITY OF THIS RESTAURANT CAN BE MEASURED BY THE LENGTH OF THE WAITING LISTS WE HAD TO SET UP AND I AM ONLY SORRY THAT WE COULD NOT PHYSICALLY ACCOMMODATE YOU ALL!

THE QUALITY AND BREADTH OF THE MENU CHOICES COUPLED WITH THE RESTAURANT’S PRIDE IN THEIR ABILITY TO COPE WITH ALL FORMS OF ALLERGIES MEANT THAT WE HAD TWO VERY ENJOYABLE EVENINGS, SO MANY THANKS TO SANDRA & HARVEY AND THE TEAM ONCE AGAIN.
