We have all experienced galleries full of portraits but there’s the one among them that calls out and we cannot but stop and look. The artist is too often a little known minnow amongst giants but at that moment that extra something that he/she has managed to ‘capture’ is just too special to ignore.
In this talk there are included some of the world’s favourites but many will shock and/or surprise. But hopefully, what all the chosen images share is an unexplained power that speaks volumes certainly to the presenter and hopefully, also to the members of the audience.
