The U3A Dining Out Group went to Kosta this month, a very popular choice. Kosta is on the Calpe road out of Moraira, set back a little on the right.
Unusually, Kristian publicly welcomed us all and told us how important it was that we should be pleased, which was a very nice touch.
All 48 of us had the same mixed starters – four small different tastes, all delicate and beautifully presented on one plate. This was followed by a choice of salmon, beef medallions or three different meats, each with complementary accompaniments, ending with cheese or flambéed crepes. As I went round the tables asking opinions I heard only praise and superlatives about the food, the wine and the service, not a single negative comment. In my opinion this is one of the best restaurants in Moraira, and it certainly lived up to its reputation.
