Card Making / Scrapbooking

Objectives:
- To facilitate the economical design and creation of cards and scrapbook pages for personal use.
- To enable participants to learn/gain experience of the full range of tools and techniques currently available to achieve their creative goals.
- To enable skills and knowledge transfer between participating members.
- To enjoy the company of other like minded 'crafters'.
Frequency & venue:
Every alternate Tuesday 15.00 - 17.00 at Los Leones, Sol Park.

Cost:
5 euros per person per session. (Most consumable materials provided.)
Methodology:
Group leader/s demonstrate new tools/techniques for the group utilising, where appropriate, table top camera and multi-media projector.
Members then practise/create examples themselves using component packs provided.
Members provide feedback/critique each others work to improve their skills and share ideas.
Programme:
Having covered the full spectrum of tools and techniques in year 1, existing members will decide what they want to focus on during year 2.
New members will still have opportunity to cover year 1 programme parallel with existing members' activities.
Tools/techniques covered in year one:
Materials, cutting, folding/creasing, sticking - from 'sellotape' to 'hot glue', painting - watercolour, acrylic, glass, glitter-powder and glues, fabric, rubber stamps, embossing - dry and with embossing powder, origami, 'pop-up' cards, 'window' cards, 'shaker' cards, 'waterfall' cards, quilling, decoupage, 'iris' folding, beading, embellishments, etc., etc.
