160414 History Talk 14th April: Victoria’s Children

Date: Monday 14th April 10:30

Venue: Salón de Actos, Espai la Senieta, Moraira (next to the large free car park)

Subject: Victoria’s Children

Lecturer: Dee Craig

Victoria loathed babies. She compared them to wrinkled frogs.  However, that did not stop her producing a large number of them. As soon as they were born, she handed them over as speedily as possible.

She was heard to say that she would willingly  trade them all in, in return for her dearly beloved Albert.

Records tell us that she was the mother from hell, a control freak who deeply resented the love between her husband and her children.

Not one of her children could hope to match her clever, handsome, intelligent, wise and incomparable Albert. From the moment they entered the world, her children never stood a chance.
