The Chicas this month tried a restaurant in Moraira new to most of us, Il Divo, in the main street on the right near the sea. Because of the cold weather and icy wind we had to have our welcome cava at our tables instead of outside, which was a shame as it curtailed our usual mingling and greeting. The place was bright and attractive and service was very smiley and attentive, although the food got a mixed reaction, unusually right across each main dish – duck, pork, fish and lamb, all seemed variably either good or rather less so. But the Chicas always enjoy themselves, and appreciated it when owner Tomas bought each lady a rose, a very nice touch. And just as we were about to leave he turned up the volume on some jolly music and we all left on a very happy note. Our thanks as always to Lynn and her team of helper “elves”.
