An amazing 42 Chicas filled the restaurant El Nido to capacity at their last visit.
A winter chill was in the air but arriving in sunshine for the cava reception warmed us before we were welcomed into the restaurant with a rousing greeting of Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March” in C major!! That set us all off with a giggle and something to chat about to new friends we were to meet at our previously allocated tables.
Starters were amazing if you had chosen mixed tapa’s plate.. there was a total of 11 different little tapas! The second courses arrived on piping hot plates and the choices of sea bass, lamb or pork were all described as superb, the meat was tender and the fish was perfectly cooked!
Desserts were all delightful with a choice of chocolate mousse, tiramisu or ice cream, with many Chica’s choosing coffee instead of dessert as the meal was so filling!
We were served very ably by Antonio and his team with plenty of wine and water included. The day was pronounced 10 out of 10 by everyone, definitely one to return to soon.
