We know our summer heat is abating when we return from our 2 month break to enjoy our September Chica’s lunch.
We met for welcome cava on the terrace in glorious sunshine, with the most fabulous views of the Montgo Mountain in the background, before moving inside to a pleasantly air-conditioned dining room.
Our host, Jose, made us very welcome and we soon settled into catch up mode with friends we hadn’t seen for a while.
The ambiance was buzzing and the noise levels rose pleasantly as we were competently looked after by the attentive staff.
Everyone enjoyed their meals with the beet salad starter and house special roast beef being particular favourites. Unfortunately, the chocolate mousse dessert – eagerly awaited – turned out to be lemon mousse, disappointing for some but not enough to spoil a lovely event.
