Note: the following is a once only process. When you have registered,
you will not have to go through this procedure again.

- Click on the "register" icon just below the forum search box in the top
right hand corner.
- Next you will be presented with a form to agree to abide by the forum
rules, read the rules and if you agree click on "agree" at the bottom.
- You will now be presented with the registration page which you fill in only once. You have to complete only the top 5 items of information. You must choose a login name. This can be your real or you can choose a nickname which you will use to post messages on the forum. You must make up a password which you will use to login in the future. And lastly you must enter your email address and your real name. Don't forget to make a note of your login name and password as you will need these every time you want to post to the forum.
- Scroll to the bottom of that page and click on "register".
- You will soon be sent an email from the Moderators with a link to click on to complete the registration process. (We need to check that you are a U3A member)
- In future, all you will need to do to post to the forum is to click on the "Forum" button on the navigation side bar , then click on the "Login" icon just below the forum search box in the top right hand corner.
There you enter both the username and password you chose when you first registered.

| When you login, you may also wish to check the box "Use Cookies?". A cookie is a very small file which is saved on your computer which, in this case, contains your login details - i.e. username and password. If you choose to use a cookie, then you won't even have to enter these details in future. YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY LOGGED IN. (But please keep a note of both your username and your password somewhere in case the cookie gets corrupted or unintentionally deleted etc - and, of course, you will need those details if you want to login from someone else's computer)
