Subject: The Geological History of the Costa Blanca

Pre-human history is told by ‘reading’ rock formations which can be considered the natural art forms created by the world in which we now live. This talk will look at the historical journey of the Costa Blanca region through hundreds of millions of years and see how the rocks on which we now walk were formed. It will explain why and how many varied environments came and went together with the animals and plants which once lived here before us.
