CHARITY FUN QUIZ NIGHT

The U3A Charity Fun Quiz Night was held at Casa Lili, Moraira on Monday, 20th October. 70 people enjoyed a special Menu del Dia which was served with efficiency and precision by the excellent Casa Lili staff.

The meal was followed by the quiz which included such topics as ‘Places of interest in the UK’, ‘Celebrities when they were young’ and ‘Love and Marriage’.

The final quiz of the evening was based on the popular TV series of ‘The 1% club’ and ‘House of Games’.

The winning team of the evening was named “The Won” and consisted of the Graysons, Schofields, Lewsleys and Clare O`Neil.

A big thank you must be extended to all the generous people who donated prizes for the raffle.

The evening raised 625 euros for Project4All, which is the charity the U3A are supporting this year.

The evening was organised by David and Eileen Haxon, who would like to thank all the participants for their support.
