The History of the Automobile

Because we are increasingly finding it more difficult to find good speakers willing to spend hours researching their subject and then presenting it to our members we must, very occasionally, repeat and old talk. This time it is one which was presented eight years ago – although it is considerable modified from the original.
So, this talk is The History of the Automobile and it is entirely non-technical so it will, hopefully, interest everyone.
It will cover from the oldest car which is still in full running order today, to the proposed designs of the future. It will also include some of the strangest vehicles ever produced to those popular vehicles from the 50’s and 60’s which will hold so many happy memories for many of our members.
