The lecture is entitled ‘Seeing Through the Eye of Horus’ and covers some of the conceptual and philosophical ideas behind Egyptian civilisation – especially how the landscape and environment of the Nile valley and deserts affected kingship and religion in the Land of the Pharaohs. All will be explained on the day!
