The Art & History Group is now āunder new managementā.
Past President John Hopwood has agreed to be the new Group Leader and he is delighted that one of the past Group Leaders, Brian Nicholls, has agreed to be involved in an administrative capacity.
John and Brian are working together to prepare a new programme of speakers to present talks and they are hoping to be able to introduce the first of these at the Salon des Actos theatre at La Senieta on Monday 11th October.
The presentations cover a very varied selection of Artists and Art History as well as the History of Individuals and Historical Periods which are well illustrated and professionally presented on a large screen via the in- house projection and sound systems.
All members of our U3A are welcome to attend the talks and it is not necessary to book in or reserve seats but it is recommended that you let us have your email so that we can keep you up-dated with information on future talks.
