A good crowd of 55 members gathered at Casa Lili, Moraira on Monday 21 Jan to pit their wits against each other and the Quizmaster, at this ever popular event despite the inclement weather.
It was a close competition ending in a nail-biting tie between the joint top scorers.
In the end the team led by Pat and John Morgan which included David & Hilary Grove and John & Greth Rabone who answered the tie-break question correctly and therefore won – well done!
Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink all served promptly and efficiently by the friendly staff.
The evening raised 470€ for Help of Marina Alta, our charity of year, which is a good start to what we hope will be a very good year for our fundraising efforts.
