Dining Out Group: Meal at Rincón de Moraira April 2014

Restaurante Rincón de Moraira is in the centre of Moraira, on the first floor above the wine shop in C. Catalayud, accessed by the passageway with steps.  Forty seven people went here on 1st April 2014 for a set menu at 20 euros including three courses, water, wine and tip.  Main course was a choice of dorado, lamb chops, solomillo or sole, with everybody happy, the amount plentiful,  especially those who chose lenguado who were delighted.  Dessert was mousse or tiramisu, both very good.  Service was smiley and efficient, and seating was on tables of eight, which worked very well.  This month´s hosts, Bob and Kay, tried the Javea format of seating people by numbers drawn on entry to select which table, to try to retain the ethos of the group to mix and make new friends.  On a show of hands about 90% of the participants liked this format.
