DESCRIPTION:Join U3A Jávea members already booked on this trip for a memorable 5 day trip with Gibraltar as the main attraction. Stopping in Granada for one night on the way there and visiting the Alhambra Palace. Once in Gibraltar there’s a day trip to Cadiz and finally an overnight stop in Almeria and visit to Mojocar on the way back. \n\n\n\nDay 1 Depart Javea (pick up points and times to follow closer to the date) towards Granada with stops and lunch (own expense) on the way. Arrival and accommodation at Gran Hotel Luna de Granada 4*\, Free time\, Dinner. \n\n\n\nDay 2 Breakfast\, Check out. Guided visit in English of the Alhambra Palace and Generalife.For Alhambra tickets we need full names and surnames\, nationality and passport numbers\, tickets are non refundable and non transferable.  \n\n\n\nDeparture to Gibraltar.                                                                                                                                                                                                         Arrival and accommodation at the Hotel Othel Campo\, La Linea 4* Free time. Dinner. \n\n\n\nDay 3 Breakfast. Excursion to Gibraltar with local guide included approx.\, 2.5 hours we will visit Europa Point\, the Trinity lighthouse\, the Rock of Gibraltar nature reserve\, (entrance not included) St Michaels Cave\, or the Great Siege Tunnels you will also have the opportunity to visit the Moorish Castle or walk down Main Street in the heart of the town where you will see the elegant British colonial buildings. Then a panoramic tour on the coach. Free time in the afternoon to explore at leisure\, enjoy lunch and time for those who may wish to get acquainted with the local Barbery Macaques. \n\n\n\nThe Gibraltar information desk is located on the Spanish side of the Gibraltar border where we are staying\, prices in pounds sterling for the Nature Reserve and should you wish to go to the top by cable car\, which runs continuously from 9.30h to 19.15h\, duration 6 mins.  \n\n\n\nPrices for Over 65s.  \n\n\n\nCable car one way and nature reserve – £45.00 \n\n\n\nCable car return and nature reserve – £47.00  \n\n\n\nCable car only – return £17.00  \n\n\n\nAll prices are an indication only. Excursion to Cadiz known as Tacita de Plata and considered the oldest living city in the West. It has a rich heritage\, with a large number of monuments of civil\, military and religious architecture\, such as the Puerta de Tierra\, the Main Telegraph\, the Gran Teatro Falla\, the Cathedral of Santa Cruz\, the Roman Theatre and the Tavira Tower. Tour 2.5 hours approx.\, with local guide\, free time to explore. Re-board bus 17.00h for return to hotel for Dinner. \n\n\n\nDay 5 Breakfast. check out\, departure to Almeria\, Guided tour of Almeria approx.\, 2.5 hours\, we will visit what was once one of the most important ports of the Caliphate of Cordoba\, discovering its Alcazaba and its Cathedral on the shores of the Mediterranean. Narrow streets with whitewashed facades make up part of the panorama of its historic centre.  \n\n\n\nAfter visit departure towards Mojocar.Arrival and accommodation at hotel Hotel Marina Playa 4* Free time. Dinner. \n\n\n\nDay 6 Breakfast.
