Back through the town of Parcent.TerrainWalking SurfaceMostly tarmac/concrete roads\, small section of gravel/dirt tracksAscentA number of modest hills\, and steep bends. One steep road up into the town. Total ascent 140m – 150m.Directions to Meeting PointComing from Teulada\, take the N332 towards Benissa. About 1km after the Benissa (Pedrera) trading estate stay on the new N332 Benissa bye-pass. After about 2km. take the slip road signposted for CV749 – Pinas and CV750 Xalo (Jalon). At the roundabout take the 1st exit to Xalo (Jalon) / Alcalali CV750. Drive through Jalon towards Alcalali and turn left at the junction in Alcalali\, towards Parcent. At the T junction as you enter Parcent turn left. Continue 100m and on the left side opposite the restaurant Tramonti there is  parking plot. We can park here.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n1.Walk to the open end of the cul-de-sac and turn right onto the CV715. At Tramonti Restaurant\, turn right again and walk down this quiet country lane. There are fields and orchards on both sides. At the bottom of the road\, where there is a small barranc on the LHS\, the road curves sharply to the right and starts to rise steeply. \n\n\n\n\nContinue around the bend and follow the road to another sharp bend\, this time to the left. Ignore all side roads/tracks. As you curve around to the left\, the road again rises steeply.\n\n\n\nAs the road levels out\, look to the left to view the plana below and hills of Col de Rates beyond. There is also a great views of Parcent behind you.\n\n\n\nThe road now bends to the right and then descends to a T-Junction. Turn right and go uphill.\n\n\n\nTo your left there are great views to the north towards Murla and the mountains of Caballo Verde.\n\n\n\nThe road continues to climb until it reaches a very sharp bend to the left. Ignore the small track straight ahead and turn sharp left to stay on the tarmac road (Via Pista).\n\n\n\nAfter a short distanced Via Pista turns right and rises steeply. At this point there is a concrete road straight ahead going downhill. Here you have a choice.Shortcut. (Saves approx 30 mins)\n\n\n\nTurn right to stay on Via Pista and go up the hill. Ignore any side turnings. The road then starts todescend.\n\n\n\nAs you pass a house on either side\, Via Pista turns right as The Old Orba Road joins from the left.Turn right here. Go to step .Full Walk\n\n\n\nTake the concrete road downhill.\n\n\n\nFollow this road as it meanders between the fields until you reach a T-Junction with a gravel track. Turn right here and the track is straight for a while. Then the track wriggles left and right as it crosses a stream. It then starts to rise. There are lots of fields and orchards to the left.\n\n\n\nEventually this pleasant route reaches a T-Junction with The Old Orba Road. Turn right here. In 50m you will join Via Pista as it rounds a bend. Go straight on.\n\n\n\nWalk down Via Pista to the main Benidorm-Pego road\, CV715. Carefully crossover and into the road opposite\, Carrer del Ravel.\n\n\n\nTurn right and follow the road around to the left to pass an old wash house. Go straight on past the wash house\, around some bends to reach a road bridge crossing a wide barranc. Carrer del Ravel then turns sharp left to go up a very steep hill. This leads to the top of the town.\n\n\n\nThere are many way to get from the top of the town back to the bottom where your car is located. Here are some ideas!\n\n\n\nNear the top of Ravel\, there is a sharp turning on the right. Take this and follow the road around to the left.\n\n\n\nAt the next junction eithera) go straight on down Carrer del Garrofer (dotted route on map)b) or turn right and then left to go down Av Constitucio\, turning right in front of the SocialCentre.\n\n\n\nBoth these routes put you at the corner of the CV715 and only a short distance from your start point
