DESCRIPTION:Walk leaders: Keith & Val \n\n\n\nMeeting PointFont Santa car park\, Camí la Font Santa\, 03725 Teulada\, Alicante.GPS: 38°42’54.8″N 0°07’33.6″EWalking RouteDistance : 4\,5 kmAround the country lanes of Borda – Sisca\, partly through vineyards and Woods.TerrainWalking SurfaceHalf tarmac or concrete roads\, half track and rough. part muddy and uneven if wet.Ascent100m ascent\,500m steep in the beginningDirections to Meeting PointFrom Moraira:Take the main Teulada-to-Moraira road (CV743). Go right on the Little roundabout\, go over the bridge and turn left. The karting facility is about 800m towards Teulada and park there in the parking to the right-hand side.From Benitachell:Take the road towards Moraira (CV737)\, Straight over the new Mercadona roundabout. When you have passed clinica assistel\, 100m onwards\, take the next small road on the right\, signposted Font Santa. Ignore the turning to the right and follow the road as it curves to the right. Shortly\, after passing new bridge off Little on the left\, you will reach the karting parking area on the right.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nWith the car park behind you\, turn right and walk towards the Font Santa casita. After looking at the font\, go up a small set of steps to the left and into the picnic area. Follow the path through the picnic area and past the barbeque building. Turn left tru the small car park. Turn right at the road and walk along this road. \n\n\n\nThe road climbs gently (at first!) as it zig-zags and then bends to the right and then to the left past a house on the right that seems to have many dogs and some catlle and goats. Follow the road to the right around this house and it then starts to climb a very steep hill. \n\n\n\nAlmost at the top of this climb\, the road bends to the left around a house and then right. As the road bends sharp left again there is a turning to the right. Ignore this turning; follow the road round the bend to the left.  \n\n\n\nAt the top of the hill (another small climb to get there) you will reach a T-junction. Turn right and the road descends gradually around a sweeping right hand curve. Enjoy the splendid views of the valley below. \n\n\n\nAt the end of the sweeping curve you will pass a house on the right and then come to a turning on the left (with houses either side of the main road). Ignore this turning\, stay on the main road (i.e. slight bend to the right). The road now is sloping down gently and you should continue to ignore turnings to the left and right. \n\n\n\nAt the bottom of this long downhill section you will reach a T-junction. Turn right and follow the road as it curves to the right. \n\n\n\nYou will pass (need to tip-toe over in winter after heavy rain) a smaller stream that crosses the road and then you pass the new road bridge at the back of LIDL.
