DESCRIPTION:Walk leaders: Alex & Elaine \n\n\n\nMeeting Point1.75Km along the Jalon Road from Benissa.GPS: 38°43’21.2″N 0°01’42.2″E Use View Venue Website below for precise location.Walking RouteDistance: 4\,6 kmAround the country lanes between Benissa and Senija\, through orchards of olives \, Almonds\, oranges and vineyards.TerrainWalking surfaceWalking Surface: Half tarmac\, half gravel pathsAscentNegligible – two short (50m) hills.Directions to Meeting PointComing from Teulada\, take the N332 towards Benissa. About 1km after the Benissa (Pedrera) trading estate stay on the new N332 Benissa bye-pass. After about 2km. take the slip road signposted for CV749 – Pinas and CV750 Xalo (Jalom). At the roundabout take the 1st exit to Xalo / (Jalon) / Alcalali CV750. After 1.75 Km there is a junction (sp Restaurant). Turn left here onto a large parking area (formerly the old road). Park here.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nTurn to face the way you came down the road. Take the road to the right (Calle Callao) into the woods. After 100m turn left at a house\, walking along the right hand side of the house and turn right.\n\n\n\n\n\nFacing you are three paths – take the right hand (upper) path. After 300m turn left at the drystone wall (the path becomes narrow here) and after 140m the track meets a tarmac road where you turn left.\n\n\n\n\n\nGo down the hill for 420m\, bearing left at the ‘Y’ junction. After 390m you reach a‘T’junction where you turn left.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe CV750 (Jalon) road is reached after 260m. Carefully cross the road\, taking the road to the Club Hipic (Cami L’Aiguera). After 390m bear left in front of a house with metal gates and after a further 110m cross the road and take the road to the stables.\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter 300m and having passed the stables the track bends to the right and after 230m meets a path running parallel to the motorway. Turn left here.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe path runs alongside the motorway for 230m before turning to the left. 100m later take the left hand path at the ‘Y’ junction and keep to the left for 570m until the tarmac road from Senija is reached.\n\n\n\n\n\nTurn left along the road\, continuing for 680m before a four-way junction is reached. Go straight over the junction and up the short steep hill to the CV750.\n\n\n\n\n\nTake care crossing the road and turn left to the parking.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInterested ?
