Just after the track bends left there is a turning to the right which you should take.\n\n\n\nContinue on up as the track becomes a narrower dirt path and arrives at the railway line.    To cross the line you must go left around the barrier on each side of the line.BEWARE OF TRAINS in both directions.\n\n\n\nOn the other side\, the path first looks like a field but carry on straight for a few 100m with on your right the woods on an elevation\, so stay close to the field edge.    After that it is much better and soon joins Camino de la Via which is a dirt road.    At the end of Camino de la Via\, you should turn left into Calle de Valencia (NS).    Go to step 13.Choice 2: Rural Route avoids crossing the railway (except at the station)\n\n\n\nWalk to the platform and cross the line to the other platform\, leave the station and turn left.\n\n\n\nWalk up Calle de Valencia (EW) for about 130m (to the 3rd zebra crossing from the station) until you see a narrow dirt path on the left up a slight mound.\n\n\n\nFollow this dirt path to a clearing and turn left to descend a little\, a choice of paths down\, choose an easy one.    Turn right at the bottom and follow the path parallel with the railway.   \n\n\n\nThe path then turns right and runs parallel with Camino de la Via. Soon you will be able to descend a small terrace (2m) to join Camino de la Via.    Care is needed for the descent.\n\n\n\nAt the end of Camino de la Via\, you should turn left into Calle de Valencia (NS). Go to step 13.Choice 3: The Urban Route avoids crossing the railway (except at the station)\n\n\n\nWalk to the platform and cross the line to the other platform\, leave the station and turn left.\n\n\n\nWalk approx 450m along Calle de Valencia (EW) uphill to the crossroad and turn left.Common Route\n\n\n\nWalk up Calle de Valencia (NS) to the crest of the hill and then down the other side.    There are greatviews ahead and to both sides.    Continue along this road until you reach a junction.\n\n\n\nTurn left into Cami Pontet de la Via and follow the road until it goes under the railway and emerges on the N332.    The Los Almendros garden centre is to your left.    Turn left and walk in front of the garden centre for about 100 metres until you are level with the turning on the other side of the N332.    With care\, cross the N332 and go down the road opposite.\n\n\n\nYou are now on Cami de la Serra.    It is mostly orange groves to your left and rough ground on the lowerslopes of the hill to your right.    Ignore the roads to the right.   \n\n\n\nContinue on until you reach a crossroads.    Straight ahead is the road to El Canor Salones.    You should turn left onto Cami d’Assagador de Canor and walk down this road taking in the pleasant views.    Ignore all side turnings.    There are a few houses dotted along this road but mostly it is uncultivated land. \n\n\n\nAt the bottom of the hill\, you will reach the large roundabout on the N332.    Follow the inner road on theright past a posh boat showrooms as it curves around and heads towards Benissa.\n\n\n\nWalk past the Creu Roja Española and when you are level with Golf Med turn left to cross the N332.    At this point it is easier to cross the concrete gully that runs alongside the N332.    Carefully\, cross the Benissa-bound lane to the sharp end of the central reservation and the cross the Gata-bound lane to the pavement beyond.    Turn left and walk past the Bertomeu electrical shop and bend right to return to the car park area.   \n\n\n\nThere is a bar (El Poligono) on the right just past the fuel station and next to the Toyota dealer.

Go round the roundabout\, pass avenida Mediterraneo\, and turn into the road for the railway station;Pass the railway station and drive up the calle Tenerife till the football stadium. Park behind the football stadium at the cemetery carpark\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nFrom the carpark walk past the cemetery into carrer l’Abiar. Entering the road there is a Alta Finca cateracoon the right and Almond field on the left. Continue this carrer l’Abiar(called via pista on google maps) untilyou reach a crossing\, house nr 55 on the right-hand\, a road to the left with a road sign ‘Radio Club’\, a road tothe right and the continuation of l’Abiar straight ahead. Go straight ahead which is the road that leads tocentre of Les Fonts in Benitachell.\n\n\n\nOn the left-hand side you pass La Barraca. Continue on the road\, going downhill\, you pass an urbanisation onthe left-hand side ‘Residential Nature’. Now the road takes a sharp turn to the right\, house sign ‘Cassita Jarra( marmelade) on the left. The road turns immediately to the left.\n\n\n\nAt the next road on the right\, where the footpath ends\, turn right. Continue uphill. Here it is about 30 min you are walking. Pass a sign Finca La Milagro and continue on the road until the footpath on the left ends and there is a road sharp the the right with the road sign ‘Urbanisation Els Molins’. On the lefthand side you pass a  woodland. Continue on this road\, ignoring 4 side road to the left. You pass the urbanisation Els Molins on the right-hand.\n\n\n\nBy the 5th side road on the left\, go left\, pass house ‘Las Vinas’ on the right\, 10m uphill and immediately takethe right-hand side road steep uphill. You see a house with a round tower on the left. Continue on this road‘Calle Castilla de la Mota’. When you are about 10 metres from the ruin there is a rocky path going left (West) up an incline into the bushes. \n\n\n\nFollow this path as it skirts a field and leads down to a white painted shed. Turn left at the shed down a wide gravel road passing the gate of a residence. Stay on this path ignoring roads going of to the right and left until you reach the tarmac road again. \n\n\n\nTurn right at the tarmac road for 280 metres until you reach a concrete road going left uphill. Take this road for 270m which turns into an earth track\, past a store building and a pylon until you reach the tree line. The last part of this track\, which has turned into a single track\, is through high grass. At 270m there is a wide track going right (West). Take this track until you meet a T junction. \n\n\n\nTurn right at the T junction and take this track back to the tarmac road. When you have passed clinica assistel\, 100m onwards\, take the next small road on the right\, signposted Font Santa. Ignore the turning to the right and follow the road as it curves to the right. Shortly\, after passing new bridge off Little on the left\, you will reach the karting parking area on the right.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nWith the car park behind you\, turn right and walk towards the Font Santa casita. After looking at the font\, go up a small set of steps to the left and into the picnic area. Follow the path through the picnic area and past the barbeque building. Turn left tru the small car park. Turn right at the road and walk along this road. \n\n\n\nThe road climbs gently (at first!) as it zig-zags and then bends to the right and then to the left past a house on the right that seems to have many dogs and some catlle and goats. Follow the road to the right around this house and it then starts to climb a very steep hill. \n\n\n\nAlmost at the top of this climb\, the road bends to the left around a house and then right. As the road bends sharp left again there is a turning to the right. Ignore this turning; follow the road round the bend to the left.  \n\n\n\nAt the top of the hill (another small climb to get there) you will reach a T-junction. Turn right and the road descends gradually around a sweeping right hand curve. Enjoy the splendid views of the valley below. \n\n\n\nAt the end of the sweeping curve you will pass a house on the right and then come to a turning on the left (with houses either side of the main road). Ignore this turning\, stay on the main road (i.e. slight bend to the right). The road now is sloping down gently and you should continue to ignore turnings to the left and right. \n\n\n\nAt the bottom of this long downhill section you will reach a T-junction. Turn right and follow the road as it curves to the right. \n\n\n\nYou will pass (need to tip-toe over in winter after heavy rain) a smaller stream that crosses the road and then you pass the new road bridge at the back of LIDL. When reaching Gata\, after the sharp S-bend \, take the next road to the left\, carrer sant Josep\, over the bridge of the river. Drive the road to the end until the T-junction with Via Pista. Turn left.50m up the road there is a gravelled parking area to the right (the school is on the left).Park here.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nWalk up the tarmac road\, via Pista. After about 250m you reach a Y- junction. Take the right road.\n\n\n\nFollow this road for 700m. You reach a junction with a tarmac road to the left. Take this road left.\n\n\n\nAfter 200m uphill on the tarmac you reach a Water Works building on the right. Continue past here across the open space and up the gravel track.\n\n\n\nThe track now winds though the bushes and fields. You will reach another junction\, a dirt track to the left and a rocky track to the right that goes uphill through the woods. Take the track to the right that goes through the woods. The track is 2m wide and you pass a dew pond in an open space to your right.\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will reach another junction. Ignore the track to the left and continue on the wider track slightly right. \n\n\n\nThis track narrows and becomes a single track uphill before reaching a right and left zig-zag up two terraces. Care is required here.\n\n\n\nAfter the zig-zag follow the narrow uphill path to the road and turn left. The road is fairly level and has great views to the sea.\n\n\n\n\nOption 1 – walking time 1hr 10min: \n\n\n\n\nThe road goes now downhill\, ignore any sideroads\, eventually you pass the Gata Areoclub \, then the ecopark.\n\n\n\nYou pass the Y-junction where you left. Continue right downhill until you reach the parking.\n\n\n\n\nOption 2 – walking time 1h 30min: \n\n\n\n\nThe road now goes downhill. Before reaching the Gata Aeroclub (can be seen in the distance to your front left) you reach a Y junction and join a tarmac road. Take the road to the right. The road winds downhill for 500m or so and levels out before a sharp bend to the right. There are villas around this area. On the left at the start of the bend is a gravel track (Via Senda). Take this track. \n\n\n\nAs the track approaches the road bridge over the gorge it divides – take the right hand track downhill and under the bridge and then bear left onto the paved promenade. \n\n\n\nContinue along the promenade taking the lower path overlooking the gorge on the right. Eventually this path reaches the road. \n\n\n\nWalk along this road\, over the crossroads to the ‘T’ junction at the end\, and turn left up the hill and return to the parking.\n\n\n\n\nStrong walking shoes or boots are essential on this route. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInterested ? When reaching Gata\, after the sharp S-bend \, take the next road to the left\, carrer sant Josep\, over the bridge of the river. Drive the road to the end until the T-junction with Via Pista. Turn left.50m up the road there is a gravelled parking area to the right (the school is on the left).Park here.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nWalk up the tarmac road\, via Pista. After about 250m you reach a Y- junction. Take the right road.\n\n\n\nFollow this road for 700m. You reach a junction with a tarmac road to the left. Take this road left.\n\n\n\nAfter 200m uphill on the tarmac you reach a Water Works building on the right. Continue past here across the open space and up the gravel track.\n\n\n\nThe track now winds though the bushes and fields. You will reach another junction\, a dirt track to the left and a rocky track to the right that goes uphill through the woods. Take the track to the right that goes through the woods. The track is 2m wide and you pass a dew pond in an open space to your right.\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will reach another junction. Ignore the track to the left and continue on the wider track slightly right. \n\n\n\nThis track narrows and becomes a single track uphill before reaching a right and left zig-zag up two terraces. Care is required here.\n\n\n\nAfter the zig-zag follow the narrow uphill path to the road and turn left. The road is fairly level and has great views to the sea.\n\n\n\n\nOption 1 – walking time 1hr 10min: \n\n\n\n\nThe road goes now downhill\, ignore any sideroads\, eventually you pass the Gata Areoclub \, then the ecopark.\n\n\n\nYou pass the Y-junction where you left. Continue right downhill until you reach the parking.\n\n\n\n\nOption 2 – walking time 1h 30min: \n\n\n\n\nThe road now goes downhill. Before reaching the Gata Aeroclub (can be seen in the distance to your front left) you reach a Y junction and join a tarmac road. Take the road to the right. The road winds downhill for 500m or so and levels out before a sharp bend to the right. There are villas around this area. On the left at the start of the bend is a gravel track (Via Senda). Take this track. \n\n\n\nAs the track approaches the road bridge over the gorge it divides – take the right hand track downhill and under the bridge and then bear left onto the paved promenade. \n\n\n\nContinue along the promenade taking the lower path overlooking the gorge on the right. Eventually this path reaches the road. \n\n\n\nWalk along this road\, over the crossroads to the ‘T’ junction at the end\, and turn left up the hill and return to the parking.\n\n\n\n\nStrong walking shoes or boots are essential on this route. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInterested ? (Ascent 105m).Directions to Meeting PointFrom Moraira: Drive through Benitachell towards Javea. Pass the football field on the right and take the first road to the right CV-747 towards Javea arenal. Pass the roundabout\, go straight and follow the road until it bends to the right. At this point turn left into Lago Como. do not take the road immediately alongside the restaurant. Parking near the mailboxes..From Jávea: At Barclays Bank\, take the road towards Benitachell up the hill. 600 metres after passing the Inn on the Green bowls club\, the road bends left at the old El Campo restaurant. There are two roads on the right hand side as the road bends left. Take the second of these two roads; do not take the road immediately alongside the restaurant. Parking near the mailboxes.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\n Walk up the hill of Calle del Lago Como following it round to the left and right. Do NOT take the next turning on the left (Lago Como) but continue straight on up the hill into Lago Cinebra.\n\n\n\nFollow it around to the right and then take the first turning on the left\, Calle Lago Vanern.\n\n\n\n The road wiggles as it joins Lago Tanganyka\, keep going straight on. At the T-junction with Cami de Sabatera\, turn left\, and\, at the crossroads\, turn right to stay on Cami de Sabatera.\n\n\n\nCami de Sabatera can be busy at times\, so beware. After a short distance (approx 130m)\, just before some trees\, there is a dirt path on the left going across some fields towards a wooded area. [If you reach a chain entrance on Sabatera then you have gone about 80m too far].\n\n\n\nWalk along this straight dirt path\, it bends slightly to the right and then enters the trees. Keep going straight until you reach a ruined finca. Turn left at the finca and follow the path through the grass. The path can be difficult to see in the grass\, but it goes almost in a straight line.\n\n\n\nThe path then curves slightly left as it rises and joins a cart track at another ruined finca (on your right). The cart track T-junctions with a rough whitish road where you should turn right into Lago Aral. Notice the magnificent view of Montgó on your right.\n\n\n\nWhen the track approaches some stables\, turn left and curve right around the stables (still on Lago Aral). [There are alternative routes marked on the map.] Ignore the turning (Lago Michigan) to the left. Continue along Lago Aral until the track goes into a wooded “tunnel”.\n\n\n\nAt the other end of the “tunnel”\, take the track on the right. This is Calle Lago Baljas (often marked on maps as Baljash). Walk along this track past a new house on the left and then the track becomes a tarmac-ed road. The stables are just visible to the right through the fence.\n\n\n\nWalk straight over the next two crossroads (first with Lago Yojoa and then with Lago Saimaa) and into Calle de Lago Eire. This road very quickly becomes a narrow dirt path (ignore the track to the left) and runs along the back of the Jávea Golf Club.\n\n\n\nLook for a ruined finca on your left\, very close to the path. About 10m after the finca\, on your right\, is a narrow dirt path leading across the fields. Follow this path in an almost straight line for about 250m. The path then curves to the left through some trees and then out in the open.\n\n\n\nIt goes along a terrace and then junctions with another path\, where you should go up the slope then follow the path as it curves to the left into some more trees. Proceed the ends of the two walls. It emerges into a clearing under some electricity pylons. Go straight across the clearing towards a small wall. There is a path to the left but you should take the path to the right\, up a slight slope and left around some small trees. This path runs alongside some trees to your right.\n\n\n\nWhen you reach a junction with another path\, turn left and soon you will reach Cami de Sabatera. Turn right and carefully walk the short distance up the hill.\n\n\n\nAt the top of the hill\, go straight across and into Lago Como. This rough track quickly becomes a road as it descends steeply. Go down the hill ignoring the side turnings. Notice the abundance of traffic furniture and zebras grazing on every corner!\n\n\n\nTake the last turning on the left (still Lago Como) then turn right to return to the parking area.

DESCRIPTION:Walk leaders: Alex & Elaine \n\n\n\nMeeting Point1.75Km along the Jalon Road from Benissa.GPS: 38°43’21.2″N 0°01’42.2″E Use View Venue Website below for precise location.Walking RouteDistance: 4\,6 kmAround the country lanes between Benissa and Senija\, through orchards of olives \, Almonds\, oranges and vineyards.TerrainWalking surfaceWalking Surface: Half tarmac\, half gravel pathsAscentNegligible – two short (50m) hills.Directions to Meeting PointComing from Teulada\, take the N332 towards Benissa. About 1km after the Benissa (Pedrera) trading estate stay on the new N332 Benissa bye-pass. After about 2km. take the slip road signposted for CV749 – Pinas and CV750 Xalo (Jalom). At the roundabout take the 1st exit to Xalo / (Jalon) / Alcalali CV750. After 1.75 Km there is a junction (sp Restaurant). Turn left here onto a large parking area (formerly the old road). Park here.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nTurn to face the way you came down the road. Take the road to the right (Calle Callao) into the woods. After 100m turn left at a house\, walking along the right hand side of the house and turn right.\n\n\n\n\n\nFacing you are three paths – take the right hand (upper) path. After 300m turn left at the drystone wall (the path becomes narrow here) and after 140m the track meets a tarmac road where you turn left.\n\n\n\n\n\nGo down the hill for 420m\, bearing left at the ‘Y’ junction. After 390m you reach a‘T’junction where you turn left.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe CV750 (Jalon) road is reached after 260m. Carefully cross the road\, taking the road to the Club Hipic (Cami L’Aiguera). After 390m bear left in front of a house with metal gates and after a further 110m cross the road and take the road to the stables.\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter 300m and having passed the stables the track bends to the right and after 230m meets a path running parallel to the motorway. Turn left here.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe path runs alongside the motorway for 230m before turning to the left. 100m later take the left hand path at the ‘Y’ junction and keep to the left for 570m until the tarmac road from Senija is reached.\n\n\n\n\n\nTurn left along the road\, continuing for 680m before a four-way junction is reached. Go straight over the junction and up the short steep hill to the CV750.\n\n\n\n\n\nTake care crossing the road and turn left to the parking.

About 1km after the Benissa (Pedrera) trading estate stay on the new N332 Benissa bye-pass. After about 2km. take the slip road signposted for CV749 – Pinas and CV750 Xalo (Jalom). At the roundabout take the 1st exit to Xalo / (Jalon) / Alcalali CV750. After 1.75 Km there is a junction (sp Restaurant). Turn left here onto a large parking area (formerly the old road). Park here.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nTurn to face the way you came down the road. Take the road to the right (Calle Callao) into the woods. After 100m turn left at a house\, walking along the right hand side of the house and turn right.\n\n\n\n\n\nFacing you are three paths – take the right hand (upper) path. After 300m turn left at the drystone wall (the path becomes narrow here) and after 140m the track meets a tarmac road where you turn left.\n\n\n\n\n\nGo down the hill for 420m\, bearing left at the ‘Y’ junction. After 390m you reach a‘T’junction where you turn left.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe CV750 (Jalon) road is reached after 260m. Carefully cross the road\, taking the road to the Club Hipic (Cami L’Aiguera). After 390m bear left in front of a house with metal gates and after a further 110m cross the road and take the road to the stables.\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter 300m and having passed the stables the track bends to the right and after 230m meets a path running parallel to the motorway. Turn left here.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe path runs alongside the motorway for 230m before turning to the left. 100m later take the left hand path at the ‘Y’ junction and keep to the left for 570m until the tarmac road from Senija is reached.\n\n\n\n\n\nTurn left along the road\, continuing for 680m before a four-way junction is reached. Go straight over the junction and up the short steep hill to the CV750.\n\n\n\n\n\nTake care crossing the road and turn left to the parking.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInterested ? Pass the football field on the right and take the first road to the right CV-747 towards Javea arenal. Pass the roundabout\, go straight and follow the road until it bends to the right. At this point turn left into calle Lago Como. do not take the road immediately alongside the restaurant. Parking near the mailboxes.. From Jávea: At Camino Cabanes roundabout\, take the Cansaladas road towards Benitachell up the hill. 600 metres after passing the Inn on the Green bowls club\, the road bends left at the El Campo restaurant. There are two roads on the right hand side as the road bends left. Take the second of these two roads; do not take the road immediately alongside the restaurant. Parking near the mailboxes.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nFrom the parking walk back towards the main road\, then turning left across the wide road junction towards El Campo restaurant. Walk past the restaurant until the verge stops.\n\n\n\nCross the main road\, turn left and after a very short distance passing the builder’s yard turn right into Carrer Antonio Clave.\n\n\n\nContinue along here\, passing a track on the right with a chain across and then take the next road on the right (Carrer Francisco Pacheco). You pass a building on the right and a well on the left\, with the road dipping down before rising to two houses on the right (Corral de Pacheco).\n\n\n\nAfter passing the houses the road deteriorates into a narrow track.Ignore a track to the right and continue uphill. The track is steep and rough and you have to duck under three trees that have fallen across the path.\n\n\n\nThe narrow track continues steeply uphill and reaches a ‘T’ junction. Turn right here. The route is now level with wonderful views towards Javea and the sea.\n\n\n\nHaving climbed up so far the route descends\, and there are two points of descent down the terraces. Care is needed here.\n\n\n\nThe route winds downhill reaching another fallen tree with another short descent to avoid it.\n\n\n\nAbout 100 metres past the tree there is a junction. Take the path to the left down the hill.\n\n\n\nGo down the hill\, ignoring all paths to left and right until reaching a purple marker on a large stone on the left. Take this path on the left\, it is level and then at a junction turns right downhill.\n\n\n\nEventually the minor road to Javea is reached\, turn right along the wide verge before crossing the road into Carrer del Lago Balaton. This is an uphill road that at the summit joins Carrer Lagos Aral. Turn right here.\n\n\n\nAt the four-way junction at the end of the road take the first exit right. This is Lago Como\, it starts as a rough track but becomes tarmac. Ignore the first turn on the left. Park near “the large black building”.GPS: 38.729479\, 0.072268Use View Venue Website below for precise location.Walking RouteDistance : 3\,8 kmAround the country lanes of Canor and Torreta which are hidden in the valley between the N332 and AP7TerrainWalking SurfaceMostly well maintained tarmac surfaces with one wide gravel and stony track.Ascent300m moderately steep hillDirections to Meeting PointFrom Teulada take the N332 towards Benissa. Before reaching the new Benissa round-a-boud \,turn right into Pedrera industrial park. Immediately after entering the park turn left and drive up the slight incline. Take the right hand bend and follow the road up the hill and then take the first turning to the left\, at this point you should see “the large black building” on your left just as the road bends to the right. Parking is available on both sides of the road.\n\n\n\nWalk Description\n\n\n\n\nTake the road opposite the picnic/children’s park next to “the large black building”. After a short distance turn right at the T-junction and follow the tarmac road down the hill. At approximately 50m the road forks and is sign posted Assegador de Canor\, take this left hand fork down the hill. \n\n\n\nContinue down the hill until you reach another fork\, turn left and go up the steep hill and between a number of houses close to the tarmac road. At this point there are splendid views of the countryside to your left. \n\n\n\nAt the next T-junction turn right and shortly after the road bends to the left\, continue on until you reach another T-junction. Turn left and admire the views of Benissa in the distance. \n\n\n\nFollow the flat tarmac road\, ignoring all roads to the right. A derelict finca\, close to the road and on the left hand side\, will come into view. Go past the finca\, continue on this road until you reach a metal pylon on your right. \n\n\n\nAt this point turn right onto Cami Teulera de Canor and follow the tarmac road downhill until you reach a ‘STOP’ sign. Turn left and after a few meters turn left again\, the road is signposted to Gata de Gorgos and this runs parallel to the motorway slip road with the old toll booths on your right. \n\n\n\nAs you turn away from the motorway slip road you will notice a number of mail boxes on your right. Shortly after passing the mail boxes the road forks\, take the right fork signposted to Torreta de Canor. \n\n\n\nContinue on this tarmac road ignoring the ‘no through road’ on your left. The road bends to the right\, goes past a white villa on the right and then becomes a wide gravel and stony track. \n\n\n\nAfter approximately 400 meters the track merges into a tarmac road\, take the road straight ahead towards the Pedrera industrial park. Just after the road starts to descend turn right onto a concrete surface and the car parking area.
