The first group leaders’ dinner for two years took place on 1st April at Satari’s restaurant and was attended by over 50 people.
Group leaders and their husbands/ wives/partners were invited to thank them for all the work they do running the groups and keeping members happy and occupied ! A lot of work goes into running these groups which are at the heart of what we do in our U3A. Committee members were also invited to thank them and enable them to meet some of our group leaders.
Abi Satari and his team did an excellent job providing a lovely meal, and entertainment was provided by Roger Brown.
Not all our group leaders were able to attend due to other commitments, but a great night was had by those who did.
