Hello U3A Members old and new
We are a group of (mostly) Ladies who like to knit.
We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2 pm to 4 pm. We would like to welcome new members to join our group. We have a supply of needles, wool and patterns for you to use if you no longer have them.
We are knitting mainly children’s clothes and toys suitable from birth to 4/5-year-olds. Also blankets for cots/prams and blankets for the Alzheimer’s society. The charities we are knitting for are the Women’s Refuge and the Children’s Care Home in Relleu.
If you no longer knit and have odd bits of wool that you would like to get rid of, we can always find a use for them. Come and see me at the U3A Knit and Natter desk or via the website to arrange to pick up any wool.
