Restaurant Il Divo September 2019
42 Chicas met for their first lunch after the summer break at the wonderful Restaurant Il Divo in Moraira.
The day started with rain but quickly dried up, just in time for the arrival of cava and friends to mingle and chat outside before taking our seats inside the beautifully decorated restaurant.
With the weather warnings we were reminded of a previous visit to the sister restaurant just over 2 years ago, when we thought the lunch might be abandoned by snow! However, this was just as successful as then and we were well looked after by Thomas and his team.
Everyone agreed the meal was excellent, some saying it must be the best in town!
We were given garlic and cheese pizza, freshly prepared and baked in the home pizza oven, as a prelude to the delightful tastes to come.
Starters were a choice of salmon tartar, Caesar salad or a pyramid of aubergine, potato and tomatoes in cheese sauce, delicious.
After a refreshing sorbet our main courses were served; a choice of lamb, or Salmon, and 2 different pasta dishes, again all thoroughly enjoyed.
This was followed by our deserts just as delicious as the rest of our meal and I noticed every plate was scraped clean.
Although we had some smaller tables than usual everyone agreed they had enjoyed the company and the ambiance.
