The Moraira-Teulada U3A Wine Tasting group has celebrated another successful season of tastings with an end of term dinner.
Some 80 members met up at the popular BeniAsia in Benitachell where Fan Fan and her team surpassed themselves with a great spread of delicious food and brilliant service.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the chatter went on late into the night.
Heartfelt thanks and a round of applause were given to Pat and Brian Clarke for all their hard work and time spent in organising, not just the event, but the whole successful season of tastings.
After a summer break, the group will be back together in September. Already a day trip to Yecla for a tour of Bodegas Castaño during the harvesting of grapes, has been arranged for the 11th. The Castaño family are renowned for their Monastrell wines which make up the major part of their three million bottle a year output.
