Free Membership for New Members – Limited Time Special Officer !!
We would like to attract some new members to our U3A. This last year has seen very few new members for obvious reasons.
Our membership numbers will probably be down next year partly due to the fact that quite a few people have decided to return to the UK, or have found getting to Spain as often as they would like difficult. The travel restrictions will, I am sure, have played a part in this and will continue to do so in the future. Our ‘swallows’ will remain a very welcome part of our U3A, but if we are to be able to continue the range of activities we have in the past, we need new members who may be able to devote the time and energy needed to help maintain and grow our activities.
We have been very fortunate to have a number of people who contribute to the running of our groups, our Committee and other social events over many years, and we are very grateful to them. However, we need to start thinking about the longer term future of our U3A. With this in mind, we have decided to offer free membership for the remainder of 2021 to people who join our U3A between September 1st to November 30th 2021.
If you know of anyone who would like to join, please let them know about this offer. They can join by clicking on this link. They will not have to make any payment, but they will still need to wait for confirmation from the Membership Secretary that they are a member and receive their membership number before joining any groups.
We do not accept applications in December, so new members must submit their applications online by no later than 30th November. If you miss this date, then you will have to wait until January to join.
